Torrens University Australia, established in 2013, is now a member of the Laureate International Universities network. It offers over 300 undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in a variety of fields of study, including business, health, hospitality, design, education, and technology. It is an international private, for-profit university and vocational training organisation based in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide, the Gold Coast, the Blue Mountains, New Zealand, Australia, Auckland, and Suzhou, China.
The university opened its first campus in the Torrens Building in Adelaide's downtown. About 21,000 students are enrolled at the university as of 2022.
