Note: Advanced Biotechnology Research Project and Work Experience Practicum courses have a prerequisite of a minimum average grade of DISTINCTION (70+)
 

Graduating with a Minor requires you to complete Forty-Eight (48) credit points in that field. If Students are opting for a Minor, please select Thirty-Six (36) credit points from the Minor Options list below and complete your research project or WIL placement in that field.

Academic requirements

You must have successfully completed an Australian bachelor degree (or equivalent overseas qualification) in biological sciences, food science/technology, biotechnology, medicine, veterinary science, dentistry, agricultural science or chemical engineering with a minimum GPA of 2.0 (out of 4.0).

Prerequisites

Successful completion of a chemistry or biochemistry course in a bachelor degree.

Selection tasks

A selection task is not required for entry into this qualification.

The annual tuition fee is AU$38,400.

You’ll be equipped with skills in gene and protein technologies, bioinformatics, and in various microbiology and food science disciplines.
