The course is structured in three parts: Part A. Advanced preparatory, Part B. Mastery knowledge and Part C. Application studies.
 

  • Part A. Advanced preparatory
    These units will provide you with the knowledge base required for advanced studies in business analytics.
  • Part B. Mastery knowledge
    These units will develop your understanding of sourcing and analysing data and will enable you to provide discipline based solutions.
  • Part C. Application studies
    The focus of these studies is professional or scholarly work that can contribute to a portfolio of professional development. This will be achieved by selecting complementary units offered across the university.

Minimum Entry Requirements (International students)

Qualifications


Entry level 1: 
Duration: 2 years full time, 4 years part time (96 points)

An Australian bachelor degree (or equivalent) with a Weighted Average Mark (WAM) of at least 65, or an equivalent GPA as approved by the faculty.

Entry level 2:
Duration: 1.5 years full time, 3 years part time (72 points)

An Australian bachelor degree (or equivalent) in a cognate discipline with a Weighted Average Mark (WAM) of 65, or an equivalent GPA as approved by the faculty.

English entry requirements

Level A
 

  • IELTS (Academic): 6.5 Overall score, with minimum band scores: Listening 6.0, Reading 6.0, Writing 6.0 and Speaking 6.0
  • Pearson Test of English (Academic): 58 Overall score, with minimum scores: Listening 50, Reading 50, Speaking 50 and Writing 50    
  • TOEFL Internet-based test: 79 Overall score, with minimum scores: Reading 13, Listening 12, Speaking 18 and Writing 21

  • Fees are per 48 credit points which represents a standard full-time course load for a year.
