When you combine engineering and IT, you'll gain the knowledge and skills needed to plan, manage, design and build engineering projects. You'll also develop communication, research and critical analysis skills that will make you highly employable. In fact, two of the fastest growing sectors for jobs growth are engineering and IT. With these two disciplines at its core, this double degree will set you up for a wide choice of career opportunities.
 

You'll develop the knowledge and practical skills in planning, management, design and build of engineering projects, with your choice of major allowing you to specialise in the area you're most interested in.You'll also achieve a high level of core IT technical knowledge and a specialisation in either information systems or networks and security.

English language requirements apply to International applicants and other applicants whose previous study was undertaken in a language other than English. The minimum English language requirements for such applicants for entry to this program are as follows:
 

  • A minimum overall band score of 7.0 on IELTS (Academic) with no sub-score of less than 6.5
  • OR a minimum score of 580 on TOEFL
  • OR an internet-based (iBT) TOEFL score of 92 (no score less than 22)
  • OR no score less than 4 in each skill of the ISLPR (conducted by ISLPR Language Services only)
  • OR a minimum overall score of 185 (no score less than 176) on C2 Proficiency (formerly Cambridge Certificate of Proficiency in English)
  • OR an overall score of 65 in the Pearson Test of English (Academic) with no score less than 58.
     

English test results must be no more than two years old.

Indicative annual tuition fee  - AUD $37,000

The indicative annual tuition fee is calculated based on a standard full-time study load which is usually 80 credit points (two full-time trimesters).
