Students who have completed Years 1 and 2 of the Bachelor of Pharmacy are eligible to apply for this program. Students in this program will undertake the 30 credit point dissertation in Years 3 and 4 as determined by the Program Director and subject to the following criteria:
 

• achievement of a minimum GPA of 5.0 for all coursework at the completion of Year 2 of the Bachelor of Pharmacy; and
• achievement of a minimum grade of 5.0 for AHS Research Methods and Statistics.

The Program Director will take the following into consideration when assessing applications for admission:
 

• the suitability of the proposed dissertation topic; and
• the resources available to support the candidature including availability of appropriate supervision.

Tuition fee
$35,000 (80 CP)

The indicative annual tuition fee is calculated based on a standard full-time study load which is usually 80 credit points (two full-time trimesters). The indicative annual tuition fee is based on current conditions and available data and should only be used as a guide. These fees are reviewed annually and are subject to change.

The program ensures that graduates are ethical and innovative thinkers, effective communicators, problem solvers, change facilitators and leaders. You will be prepared for a career in community and hospital pharmacy, and medication management. You may also have the opportunity for careers in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, nutraceutical and related industries in areas including management, sales, marketing, business development, and local and national government agencies related to medicine use and regulation.
