About
Flinders University is a public research university with its headquarters in Adelaide and it has 11 sites spread across South Australia and the Northern Territory. It was established in 1966 and was given the name Flinders in honour of British sailor Matthew Flinders, who in the early 19th century explored and mapped the Australian and South Australian coastline.
