The course comprises 256 points. At the end of second year, students can choose - dependent upon satisfying minimum requirements - to enrol in the Honours stream or remain in the Pass stream. Entry into Honours is dependent on the availability of appropriate supervisors and resources required to support the project.

Completion of the All India Senior School Certificates, where awarded by CBSE and metro state boards. Overall score of 60% in 4 Academic subjects:

• India School Certificate (ISC)

• A completed award with a minimum total score of 24 or above in the International Baccalaureate

• Completion of two GCE A2 Levels with a minimum of 2 x D or equivalent in a minimum of two subjects, where A=5, B=4, C=3, D=2, E=1

• A pass in the first division in the Pre-University Certificate
