Students must complete the Bachelor of Health Sciences (including pre-requisite subjects, please refer to Program Structure and Subjects) with a minimum GPA of 1/4 (equivalent to 4/7) in order to progress to the Master of Nutrition and Dietetic Practice, as well as complete any compulsory compliance requirements.
 

Alternative entry pathways

For those applicants who do not currently have the required academic qualifications, there are a number of alternative entry pathways:

• Bond University Tertiary Preparation programs

• Bond University Diploma programs

• Other institutional Tertiary Preparation Programs

• Vocational education and training qualifications (Certificate IV and above)

• Prior higher education experience (at this university or another)

• Special Tertiary Admissions Test (STAT)

• Professional or para-professional qualifications/experience

• Employment experience verified by a statement of service from the employer stating the position title and length of service and a very brief statement on the tasks undertaken.

The below fees are based on the total estimated program fee divided by the number of standard full-time semesters required to complete the program. Fees may vary based on which subjects are selected and the number of subjects enrolled in for each semester.

Graduates of the program will be able to apply their skills and experience across a range of areas including:

• clinical dietetics

• sports nutrition

• private practice

• food service management

• corporate health and wellness

• nutrition communications and media

• community and public health nutrition

• nutrition and dietetic research.
   

Graduates may be eligible to progress to further post-graduate research, leading to potential career options in research organisations and academia.
 

Through your internships during the Master of Nutrition and Dietetic Practice, you will develop competence in the areas of medical nutrition therapy, food service dietetics, and community and public health nutrition, plus an additional setting based on your area of dietetic interest. This may include sports nutrition, private practice, food industry, corporate health, food and health charities, aged care, nutrition communications and media, or paediatric nutrition.
 

In addition, you will complete an international nutrition project abroad to obtain a global perspective on nutrition and dietetics.
