Program Structure

The Graduate Certificate of Management requires the completion of 24 units, which must consist of:

Either:
 

24 units from completion of one of the following specialisations:

• Management Core

• Business Information Systems

• Digital Transformation

• Entrepreneurship and Innovation

• International Business

• Leadership

• Project Management

Or:

24 units from completion of 6000-, 7000- and 8000- level courses from the following subject areas:

• BUSI International Business

• INFS Business Information Systems

• MGMT Management

• MKTG Marketing

• Leadership

• Management Core

• Project Management

At a minimum, all applicants must meet program-specific academic/non-academic requirements, and English language requirements. Admission to most ANU programs is on a competitive basis. Therefore, meeting all admission requirements does not automatically guarantee entry.

Applicants must have either:

• A Bachelor degree or international equivalent with minimum GPA 4.0/7.0; or

• A Graduate Certificate or international equivalent with minimum GPA 4.0/7.0; or

• A Graduate Diploma or international equivalent with minimum GPA 4.0/7.0; or

• 24 units of courses in a postgraduate program with minimum GPA of 4.0/7.0; or

• GMAT (Graduate Management Admission Test), completed no more than 5 years before the time of application, with a minimum score of 550 (minimum 5.0 in Analyti cal Writing) and a minimum of 3 years full-time, relevant work experience at ANZSCO Skill Level 1 in a field related to the program; or

• GRE General test, completed no more than 5 years before the time of application, with a minimum score of 155 for Verbal Reasoning, 155 for Quantitative Reasoning and 4.0 in Analytical Writing and a minimum of 3 years full-time, relevant work experience at ANZSCO Skill Level 1 in a field related to the program; or

• A minimum of 5 years of full time, relevant work experience at ANZSCO Skill Level 1 in a field related to the program; or

• A minimum of 5 years of full time, relevant work experience at ANZSCO Skill Level 1, including at least 3 years documented experience in a managerial role; or

• A minimum of 10 years of full time, relevant work experience at ANZSCO Skill Level 1; or

• Enrolment in a sponsored ANU Management Program offered by College of Business & Economics with a partner organisation in the Australian Public Service:

• with employment: 

• in at least a substantive APS level 4 position with completion of a Diploma of Government; 

• or in at least a substantive APS level 5 without Diploma of Government.

• and a completed ANU Management Program CV template containing:

• Responses to application questions;

• Curriculum vitae clearly identifying periods of full-time and part-time employment experience;

• Names and contact details of two referees who can verify the experience.

• in addition to providing written support from SES-level APS Branch or Regional Manager (or alternative SES position as appropriate)

Academic achievement & English language proficiency

The minimum academic requirement for full entry and enrolment is a Bachelor degree or international equivalent with a minimum GPA of 4.0/7.0.

If required, competitive ranking may further be confirmed on the basis of applicants demonstrating higher-level English language proficiency.

The annual indicative fee provides an estimate of the program tuition fees for international students and domestic students (where applicable). The annual indicative fee for a program is based on the standard full-time enrolment load of 48 units per year (unless the program duration is less than 48 units). Fees for courses vary by discipline meaning that the fees for a program can vary depending on the courses selected. Course fees are reviewed on an annual basis and typically will increase from year to year. The tuition fees payable are dependent on the year of commencement and the courses selected and are subject to increase during the period of study.
