Scholarship Overview

Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology, Nagpur invites applications for VNIT Nagpur Department of Metallurgical & Materials Engineering Junior Research Fellowship 2020 from MTech/ME/BTech/BE/PhD degree holders. The fellows are required to work in a SERB funded research project titled, “To develop Biocompatible materials with a wide supercooled liquid region in bulk metallic glass systems”. The selected fellows will receive a consolidated fellowship of INR 31,000 per month.

Eligibility

To be eligible, an applicant must:

  • Hold an MTech/ME degree in Metallurgy/Materials/equivalent streams, OR 
  • Hold a BTech/BE degree in Metallurgy/Materials Engineering with GATE score or MSc degree in Physics, OR
  • Hold a PhD in Metallurgy/ Materials Engineering
  • Have hands-on experience in synthesis and characterizing of materials
