Vellore Institute of Technology invites applications for Vellore Institute of Technology School of BioSciences and Technology Junior Research Fellowship 2020 from postgraduate degree holders. The fellowship is meant for the project titled, "A perspective anticoagulant peptide from Nori; Porphyra yezoensis hydrolysate acting on the intrinsic pathway of coagulation”. The selected candidate will receive a stipend of INR 31,000 per month (for first two years) & INR 35,000 per month (for the third year).

To be eligible, an applicant must -

• Hold an MSc degree in Life Sciences/Biotechnology/Biochemistry or an MTech degree in Biotechnology or equivalent in Biotechnology/ Bio-Sciences
• Have GATE/JEST/NET qualification

Candidates having knowledge in protein purification and experience in technical writing will be preferred.
