The University of Waterloo has initiated Suncor Emerging Leaders Awards in Engineering in Canada, 2021. This scholarships are awarded annually to outstanding undergraduate students in Engineering and Science programs. These scholarships are funded by a generous donation from Suncor in recognition of the outstanding programs at the University of Waterloo and to meet the needs of the Canadian oil and gas industry through trained human resources capable of playing a leadership role in the sector.

The successful applicants of University of Waterloo - Suncor Emerging Leaders Awards in Engineering in Canada, 2021 will receive an award of an amount up to $10,000 each.

Eligibility

  • Applicants can be both domestic or international students.
  • Applicants must be enrolled in the specified undergraduate Engineering program at the University.
  • Applicants must be enrolled in  and Sciences program at the University.
  • Applicants must demonstrate Academic excellence.
  • Applicants must satisfy University's IELTS or TOEFL score requirement.

How To Apply

  • Apply at least two to four weeks ahead of your program's application deadline to ensure you have time to upload your supporting documents, and your referees have time to submit their reference forms.

  • Create an OUAC account (if you do not already have one). You may have only one OUAC account. Please direct any online application account process questions to OUAC support.
  • Ensure that you select the correct program. A new application may be required in order to make a program change.
  • Enter the required application information.
  • Pay the non-refundable application fee of $125 CAD per program.
