  • Assignments or research projects completed for course work at the University of Toronto during Summer 2020, Fall 2020, or Winter 2021 are eligible for submission

Students are judged on their use of information sources for a course assignment

  • The judging panel will evaluate each project based on:
    • Where the students look for information sources
    • What resources and/or services (library or information-related) the students use during the research or information-seeking process
    • How the students evaluate and select the information sources incorporated in the assignment/project
  • The focus of the prize is based on effective and innovative searching and the use of information sources
  • The reflective statement is key to a strong and successful application and will hold the most weight with judges, rather than the research assignment
