The University is offering South Korea Merit Scholarships in UK, 2019 to students enrolling into postgraduate programs at the University of Sheffield.

Value of University of Sheffield - South Korea Merit Scholarships in UK, 2019:

  • The successful applicants of the University of Sheffield - South Korea Merit Scholarships in UK, 2019 will receive 10% to 50% tuition fee waiver.

Eligibility

  • You must apply for a place of study by Friday 16 June 2019 and hold an offer of a study place and begin your degree program in September 2019.
  • You must be a national or permanently domiciled of one of South Korea.
  • As long as the applicant doesn't become fully funded, the scholarship can be combined with other scholarships offered by the University.
  • The scholarship will be granted on the basis of academic merit and the supporting statement.
  • They must be self-funded and classified as overseas for fee purposes.
  • The scholarships will be awarded automatically – no application is required.
  • The scholarships will take the form of a tuition fee reduction only.
  • The scholarships are for full-time and part-time students only. Students studying via Distance Learning are not eligible for the scholarships.
  • Part-time students will receive the full value of a one year of scholarship split pro-rata over the duration of an equivalent single full-time academic year.

How To Apply

You can apply for an undergraduate course at Sheffield via UCAS (the Universities and Colleges Admissions Service):

Applications for places on courses starting the following September (except Medicine and Dentistry) should be submitted to UCAS between:

  • 1 September and 15 January (29 January in 2021) to be guaranteed equal consideration with other applicants
  • 16 January (30 January in 2021) and 30 June for further consideration, although we may not be able to consider your application if all the places on the course you've applied for have been filled
