Scholarship Overview

The University of Melbourne invites applications for the University of Melbourne, Samuel Francis Pond Trust Scholarship 2021 from graduate forestry students. The scholarship aims to support graduate forestry students in research-related travel overseas. Selected students will get a single payment of up to AUD 2500.

Terms and Conditions

  • Applicants must be enrolled as a full-time student in a course at the University of Melbourne.
  •  Part-time students may be eligible to receive this scholarship.
  • This scholarship cannot be deferred to the following year.
  • Applicants must provide a brief report on the benefits of the scholarship and permit the University to provide the report, their name and course details to the donor.
  • A total of approximately 5 scholarships are available under this scheme.

Eligibility

To be eligible, an applicant must:

  • Be an Australian / domestic student or an International student
  • Be a graduate student engaged in forestry research
  • Provide evidence of the financial need
