Scholarship Overview

The University of Melbourne invites applications for the University of Melbourne, Frank Keenan Scholarship 2021 from undergraduate, honours, graduate and RHD students. The scholarship aims to support research projects of students enrolled or enrolling in the study of amenity or ornamental horticulture at Burnley campus, Faculty of Science. Selected students will get a single payment of up to AUD 3,000.

Selection Criteria

Eligible students will be selected on the basis of academic merit and the candidate's expressed interest in one or more of the following disciplines: amenity or ornamental horticulture, community horticulture, parks, and gardens.

Terms and Conditions

  • Applicants must be enrolled as a full-time student in a course at the University of Melbourne.
  •  Part-time students may be eligible to receive this scholarship.
  • This scholarship cannot be deferred to the following year.
  • Applicants must provide a brief report on the benefits of the scholarship and permit the University to provide the report, their name and course details to the donor.
  • A total of 6 scholarships are available under this scheme.

  • Be an Australian / domestic student or an International student
