Scholarship Overview

The University of Calgary International Entrance Scholarship is a prestigious scholarship programme that recognizes outstanding accomplishments of an international student beginning their undergraduate studies. Applicants are required to have an exceptional academic track record in order to be considered for this scholarship. 

Shortlisting Process

The selection of scholars for the University of Calgary International Entrance Scholarship involves a multi-stage process. The scholars will be selected after a thorough assessment of all the applicants. 

Terms and Conditions

The continuation of the scholarship depends on the good academic performance of the scholars in the examinations conducted by their respective universities.

Renewal cases of stipend holders who are not promoted to the next year will not be considered for further renewal.

 

Eligibility

  • This scholarship is offered annually to undergraduate international students entering the first year in any undergraduate degree in the upcoming fall term who have satisfied the university's English Language Proficiency requirement.
  • Renewable in the second, third and fourth year at the University of Calgary, provided recipients to achieve a GPA of 2.60 or more over a minimum of 24.00 units in the previous fall and winter terms.
  • International students who are not Canadian citizens or Permanent Residents of Canada.
  • Applicants must have passed high school with prerequisites required in each degree.
