Scholarship Overview
The UniScholarz Shine On Scholarship is a merit-based scholarship that intends to uplift students to achieve greater heights. Any Indian student can be a promising candidate on the basis of their academic excellence or any other merit like sports, extracurriculars they have to showcase to the world. The scholarship enables undergraduate and postgraduate Indian students to study and conduct research at universities based in the United States of America or Canada.
Shortlisting Process
The selection of scholars for the UniScholarz Shine On Scholarship involves a multi-stage process. The scholars will be selected after a thorough assessment of the merit of all the applicants. The selection process includes:
- Screening of scholarship applications based on merit
- Telephonic interviews for further shortlisting of candidates
Terms and Conditions
- Before we award the scholarship, the winner will be required to verify their academic enrollment status by providing a copy of their most recent transcript.
- The scholarship winner needs to be in the country of his/her university in order to receive the award.
Eligibility
Applicants must:
- Be at least 18 years of age.
- Be students who have strong academic potential and plan to study/studying overseas at any university in the USA/Canada.
- Be pursuing or will commence any UG/ PG course overseas in a recognized university/college in the USA/Canada. This scholarship cannot be availed for studying in India.
- Be matriculated at an accredited university abroad for the upcoming academic year starting 2021, and must maintain full-time status for the duration of the Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree.
Other factors such as community service, leadership qualities, and levels of motivation will also be taken into consideration.

Application Process
Applications for the UniScholarz Shine On Scholarship can only be submitted using the UniScholarz online application system. The deadline for applications is 24th Feb 2022. Results will be declared on 5th April '22.

- Copy of Passport
- Proof of admission (college ID card/Bonafide certificate/current academic year fee receipt/etc.)
- Standardized test scores: SAT/GRE/ACT/GPA
- For Bachelors: Copies of transcripts/diplomas
- For Masters: An undergraduate degree that will enable you to gain entry onto a postgraduate programme at a university abroad by the time you submit your application.
