Scholarship Overview
Saryu Doshi Graduate Fellowships in Liberal Arts & Sciences is awarded by the Vinod Saryu Doshi Foundation. This Foundation is a non-profit charitable trust that supports initiatives in the fields of Art & Culture, Education, and Community. The aim of this scholarship programme is to provide funding to academically bright students who have the drive to succeed but are unable to do so due to their financial challenges. This is a need-based merit Fellowship and abides by the Equal Opportunity and Affirmative Action policy.
Shortlisting Process
The selection of scholars for the Saryu Doshi Graduate Fellowships in Liberal Arts & Sciences involves a multi-stage process. The scholars will be selected after a thorough assessment of all the applicants.
Terms and Conditions
The continuation of the scholarship depends on the good academic performance of the scholars in the examinations conducted by their respective universities.
Renewal cases of stipend holders who are not promoted to the next year will not be considered for further renewal.
Eligibility
- Applicants must have a first class degree or equivalent from a recognized Indian university.
- Must have secured admission in a foreign university of repute, on their own merit for a course.
- Applicants should be an Indian citizen.
- Applicants studying in the final year of the degree or equivalent may also apply, provided they are able to submit their final year certificates.
