Scholarship Overview

Asian Institute of Technology, Thailand invites applications for Royal Thai Government HM King’s Doctoral Scholarship 2021 from students applying for a doctoral program. This scholarship aims to support qualified candidates with excellent undergraduate (Bachelor degree) and graduate (Master degree) achievements to pursue their Doctoral programs in any academic program offered at School of Engineering and Technology (SET) and School of Environment, Resources, and Development (SERD). Selected students will get tuition, registration fees, accommodation, and a bursary for living expenses in AIT's residential campus, throughout the duration of their PhD program.

Benefits

The selected students will receive tuition, registration fees, accommodation, and a bursary for living expenses in AIT's residential campus, for the entire period of 41 months (7 semesters) during their PhD program.

Eligibility

To be eligible, an applicant must:

  • Be from an Asian country
  • Have an outstanding education record in a 4-year undergraduate program from an accredited institution in related fields
  • Have a high proficiency in English as required by AIT (Applicants can also take the AIT English Test administered by the AIT Language Center)
  • Hold a CGPA of more than 3.5 (or equivalent) in Master’s degree
  • Be in satisfactory physical and mental health, and have a record of good conduct
