Scholarship Overview

The Menzies Scholarship is awarded each year to an Australian citizen who has been admitted to any graduate school at Harvard University. Interested students must apply for consideration before entering the U.S. and prior to the start of their Harvard programs. Students apply for consideration through the Harvard Club of Australia’s representative at Australian National University. This scholarship is not renewable.

Eligibility

 

  • Be Australian citizen and be residing in Australia.
  • Be willing to return to return to Australia after completing your education or be willing to represent Australia overseas.
  • Not have studied in united states before.
  • Not have accepted any other scholarship award.

How To Apply

Applicants submit their application to Australian National University. Applications are then reviewed and shortlisted with  the best and most eligible candidates being  invited for an interview by the Selection Panel. The selection panel consists of 3 representatives from ANU and 3 representatives  appointed by the Harvard Club of Australia.. The Selection Panel usually has a number of past winners serving on it.
