Interview Required
Applicants are eligible if they:
- Apply for a Fall term
- Complete an IUPUI application and an Honors College scholarship application (and submit all materials)
- Have a cumulative high school GPA of 3.75 (weighted)
- Have a preferred SAT score of 1310 on the Evidence-Based Reading and Writing and Math sections or a minimum ACT composite score of 28

- Submit one reference form from the school counselor
- Students will additionally be asked to submit a reference form specific to the scholarship itself
- This recommender must be someone other than the school counselor that will be providing the applicant's reference for admission to the Honors College, and cannot be a family member
- Students are required to submit an essay (800- to 1,000-word essay)
- Discuss the importance of globalization and cross-cultural competency. What have you done to improve your global awareness and understanding of different cultures?
- Have you taken any initiatives to promote these values in your community?
- As a Plater International Scholar at IUPUI and the IUPUI Honors College, what international experiences would you like to pursue, and why?
- Students will be required to complete an additional resume detailing experiences relevant to the scholarship
