Odisha University of Agriculture & Technology, Bhubaneswar invites applications for OUAT Bhubaneswar Research Associate and Senior Research Fellowship 2020 from postgraduate/PhD degree holders. The selected fellows will receive a fellowship of INR 49,000 per month plus HRA as per the norms (for Research Associate) and INR 31,000 per month plus HRA as per the norms (for SRF).

Selection will be based on the performance of the candidate in the interview. 

• No TA/DA will be paid to the applicants for appearing in interview.
• Candidates fulfilling the essential criteria/qualification only need to attend the walk-in-interview.
• The written examination may be conducted if the applications are too many.
• No objection certificate from the present employer, if any, is to be produced at the time of interview.
• Candidates desirous of attending the walk in the interview are requested to report at the venue latest by 10.30 AM.

To be eligible, an applicant must:

For Research Associate -

• Not be more than 35 years of age 
• Hold an MTech/PhD in Agricultural Engineering/ Chemical Engineering/ Biotech Engineering / Environmental Engineering or PhD in Chemistry
• Have two to three years of experience of working on Biomass characteristics

For Senior Research Fellowship -

• Not be more than 35 years of age
• Hold an MTech in Ag. Engg/ Chemical Engineering with knowledge in handling computer software, OR
• Hold an MSc (Ag. Biotech)/ M.Sc. (Biotech) / MSc (Plant breeding and genetics) with experience of working on rice breeding, rice hybridization. handling and maintaining of cross-breeding materials
