Scholarship Overview

This year we are celebrating the 20th anniversary of our flagship Developing Solutions Masters Scholarship. Founded in 2001, this scholarship programme is for international students who want to make a difference to the development of their home country

We're offering 105 scholarships covering 50% or 100% of full-time masters tuition fees. These are available for high-achieving international students who live in Africa, India or selected Commonwealth countries.

Level and Field(s) of study:

Full-time Masters Degree Programmes (including MRes) at Nottingham for September 2021 in any subject area within the following faculties: Faculty of Engineering, Faculty of Medicine & Health Sciences, Faculty of Science and Faculty of Social Science

Eligibility

This award will be available to the future students doing the eligible course at the university. To apply for this scholarship, the applicant must:

  • National of or permanently residing in Africa, India or a resident of the Commonwealth countries.
  • Considered as an international student for fee purposes
  • Hold an offer letter to commence studies in full-time master (excluding MRes) courses from the university.

Students must be registered under either of the Faculty of Engineering, Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, Faculty of Social Sciences and Faculty of Science.

Applicants once met admission requirements at the University of Nottingham and received an offer that can apply for the scholarship.

  • Candidates must apply through the scholarship section of the application system, MyNottingham.
  • The statement submitted along with the application must reflect the personal views of the candidate.
  • The candidates will be asked about their achievements, study plans, and reasons for studying at the university.

The candidates must prepare strong answers to get shortlisted for the scholarship. Completed applications must be submitted before May 21, 2021.
