Scholarship Overview

Monash University, Australia invites applications for Monash University Microbiology in Water Engineering Scholarship 2021 from undergraduate and postgraduate students. The scholarship aims to support the study of students who are interested in the disciplines of environmental engineering (in particular, water engineering) and public health protection (in particular microbiology or epidemiology). Selected students will receive AUD 5,000 as a one-off payment.

Eligibility

To be eligible, an applicant must:  

  • Be an Australian citizen/a New Zealand citizen/Australian permanent resident/Australian humanitarian visa holder or an International student
  • Be a continuing Monash University undergraduate student either studying in the fourth year of his/her Bachelors of Civil or Environmental Engineering or provide evidence of studying any fourth-year watercourse (e.g. CIV4261, or CIV4281, etc.), OR
  • Be studying a Masters of Engineering majoring in water, OR
  • Intend to or is enrolled in MIC 3990, OR
  • Intend to or is enrolled in honours in microbiology at Monash University
  • Be achieving a minimum 80% Weighted Average Mark
