Scholarship Overview

The Merit Scholarship for PG students ($2,000) is a unique scholarship programme instituted by ECPI University, USA. This scholarship aims to attract meritorious students in selected programmes at ECPI University, USA each year. Postgraduate students from all over the world are eligible to apply for this scholarship. The scholarship covers only the Tuition & Fees of the awardee. 

Shortlisting Process

The selection of scholars for the Merit Scholarship for PG students ($2,000) involves a multi-stage process. The scholars will be selected after a thorough assessment of merit of all the applicants. The selection process includes:

  • Telephonic interviews for further shortlisting of candidates.

Terms and Conditions

The continuation of the scholarship depends on the good academic performance of the scholars in the examinations conducted by their respective universities.

Renewal cases of stipend holders who are not promoted to the next year will not be considered for further renewal.

 

Eligibility

  • Applicants must have a high school or college grade point average equivalent of 2.75 or better, based on the last degree completed.
  • Prospective or enrolled international students in all programmes are eligible to apply
  • Applicants must complete their admissions paperwork.
  • Work experience is preferred for Master of Science in Information Systems students
  • English Language Proficiency waiver: 
    • If the medium of instruction of high school was English, submit a copy of high school diploma or transcripts which should state the medium of instruction

 

How To Apply

Students will be auto-considered for this scholarship when they apply for the courses on which this scholarship is applicable. No separate application is needed.

Application Documents

  • Submit a letter of recommendation from a previous or current employer verifying the applicant's work and achievements in the field in which they wish to study (letter must be on the employer’s letterhead). The work experience must be related to the intended field of study. 
  • Official transcripts.
  • Official Financial Statements that verify sufficient funds to cover the cost of the first academic year of studies as well as all living expenses. If the financial statement is in the name of a sponsor, an affidavit of support form is also required.
  • Proof of Health Insurance or Waiver Form.
  • Copy of the applicant’s passport.
