Scholarship Overview

The scholarship is funded by London Business School and offered to all successful MBA applicants from India. Every year, 1 Indian student wins this coveted scholarship to study at the prestigious London Business School. The student can use this scholarship only if he/she is enrolled in the MBA programme at London Business School. The London Business School India Scholarship will cover the entire cost of Tuition & Fees only.

Shortlisting Process

The selection of scholars for the London Business School India Scholarship involves a multi-stage process. The scholars will be selected after a thorough assessment of merit of all the applicants. The selection process includes:

  • Interview conducted by alumni or senior admissions staff. 

Terms and Conditions

The continuation of the scholarship depends on the good academic performance of the scholars in the examinations conducted by their respective universities.

Renewal cases of stipend holders who are not promoted to the next year will not be considered for further renewal.

 

Eligibility

  • Applicants must have a bachelor degree or equivalent qualification.
  • English Language Proficiency Proof:
    • A score of IELTS, or
    • A score of PTE, or
    • English Language Proficiency is not required if applicants have completed their UG or PG degree entirely in English or if applicants have worked or lived in an English speaking country for at least two years since graduating from university.
  • GMAT/GRE scores.
  • Work experience- Applicants must have at least two years of work experience.
  • Interview-
    • Shortlisted applicants will have the interview sessions.
    • The interviews are all conducted by alumni or senior admissions staff and applicant's interviews will take place in the region in which they are based.
  • Applicants must have the ability to work in multicultural teams and demonstrate an international outlook.

    • Applicants need to submit two LOR.
    • One should be from a current employer and one from someone who knows you well in a work context.
    • Applicants can download further information on references for applicants and referees.
  • Essay: MBA Applicants need to write an essay on the below following topics:
    • What are your post-MBA goals and how will your prior experience and the London Business School program contribute towards these? (500 words).
    • Is there any other information you believe the Admissions Committee should know about you and your application to London Business School? (Optional) (500 words).
  • Submit a one-page CV: Please give reasons for significant gaps in employment history on a separate sheet.
  • Official transcripts required.
