The Lester B. Pearson International Scholarship Program- BCom is awarded by the University of Toronto. The aim of this scholarship is to recognize international students who demonstrate excellent academic achievements and creativity and who are recognized as leaders within their school. The Lester B. Pearson International Scholarship Program- BCom is the University of Toronto’s most prestigious and competitive scholarship for international students. As the name suggests, this scholarship is open only to students who are enrolled in the Bachelor of Commerce programme at the University of Toronto.
Shortlisting Process
The selection of scholars for the Lester B. Pearson International Scholarship Program- BCom involves a multi-stage process. The scholars will be selected after a thorough assessment of all the applicants.
Terms and Conditions
The continuation of the scholarship depends on the good academic performance of the scholars in the examinations conducted by their respective universities.
Renewal cases of stipend holders who are not promoted to the next year will not be considered for further renewal.

To become a Pearson Scholar, you must be nominated by your school and apply to undergraduate studies at the University of Toronto. Ask your school guidance counsellor about being nominated. Once you’ve been nominated and have applied to the University of Toronto, you will be sent a personalized, secure link to the Lester B. Pearson International Scholarship application.
Pearson Scholars are students who have demonstrated exceptional academic achievement and creativity, who are accepted as leaders within their school, and who have the potential to contribute to the global community in the future. They can be distinguished from other students who may have equally high academic results by virtue of their breadth of interest, intellectual energy and impact on the life of their school and community.
