The Jean-Pierre Ayala Scholarship was created to support students majoring in Marine or Ocean Sciences

This scholarship rewards young scientists and supports the ongoing expansion of marine studies as an imperative tool in the future of our planet

This scholarship is applicable for Bachelors Degree, Masters Degree

This scholarship is applicable for all universities in USA

Be a Freshmen, Sophomore, Junior, Senior, or Graduate Student currently enrolled in an accredited college or university

• Minimum of a 3.0 GPA *weighted

• Majoring in Marine Sciences, Ocean Studies, Marine Biology, Environmental Science, Ecology, or a similar study

• Submit a 500-800 word essay detailing your involvement with ocean science and/or why you are pursuing an education in this field.
