IIT Roorkee Centre of Earth Science Junior Research Fellowship

Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Roorkee is inviting applications for the IIT Roorkee Centre of Earth Science Junior Research Fellowship 2021 from postgraduate degree holders. The fellowship is meant for the project titled, "A systematic large-scale assessment for potential of CO2 enhanced oil and natural gas recovery in the key sedimentary basin in India". The selected fellows will receive a fellowship of INR 31,000 per month plus HRA.

Terms and Conditions

• No TA/DA is admissible for attending the interview.
• Preference will be given to SC/ST candidates on equal qualifications and experience.
• The selected candidate may get an opportunity for PhD admission.

To be eligible, an applicant must-

• Hold an MSc/Integrated MSc/Integrated MTech degree in Earth Sciences/Geology/Applied Geology/Geophysics/Applied Geophysics/Geological Technology/Geophysical Technology
• Be NET or GATE qualified
