IIT Madras Department of Civil Engineering Junior Research Fellowship

Indian Institute of Technology Madras invites applications for the IIT Madras Department of Civil Engineering Junior Research Fellowship 2021 from Graduate/Postgraduate degree holders. The fellowship is meant for the project titled, "Study of the deterioration mechanisms in glass textile-reinforced concrete and improvement of its durability”. The selected fellows will receive a consolidated salary of INR 31,000 per month.

To be eligible, an applicant must:

• Hold a Graduate/Postgraduate degree in Civil Engineering
• Have qualified National Eligibility Tests- CSIR-UGC, NET including Lectureship (Assistant Professor) and GATE

The ideal candidate would have the following skills:

• Sound fundamental knowledge in Civil Engineering, preferably in Construction Materials and Structural Engineering
• Strong record in experimental work.
• Strong communication skills (oral & written)

Note: Selected candidate will have to work on Deputation at IIT Palakkad for a considerable period of appointment.
