Indian Institute of Technology, Gandhinagar invites applications for IIT Gandhinagar Department of Materials Engineering Research Associate/Postdoctoral Fellowship 2021 from PhD degree holders. The fellowship is meant for the project titled, "Slippery properties of liquid impregnated micro-cavities". The selected candidates will receive an emolument of INR 47,000 - 54,000 per month as per institute norms.

To be eligible, an applicant must - 

• Hold a PhD degree in Chemical engineering/Materials science/Fluid Mechanics/Chemistry/Micro-engineering/Environmental engineering
• Have research specialization in colloidal processing and wetting phenomena
• Be able to independently lead the project

Candidates who have submitted their thesis are also eligible. Good communication skills both in scientific writing as well as in presentations are highly desirable.
