IISER Kolkata Center for Climate and Environmental Studies (CCES) Senior Research Fellowship

Indian Institute of Science Education and Research, Kolkata invites applications for IISER Kolkata Center for Climate and Environmental Studies (CCES) Senior Research Fellowship 2020 from postgraduate degree holders in Geology/Earth Science. The fellowship is meant for a project entitled, “Role of Himalayan glaciers in the Ganga river system: A study based on stable Isotope". The selected fellows will receive a consolidated fellowship of INR 35,000 plus HRA.

Selection will be based on the applicant's performance in the interview.

To be eligible, an applicant must:

• Be below 32 years of age
• Hold a postgraduate degree in Geology/Earth Science
• Have qualified National Eligibility Tests–CSIR-UGC NET including lectureship (Assistant Professorship) or GATE.
• Have two years of experience as JRF
• Have working experience in stable isotope ratio mass spectrometer
• Have expertise in water isotope and dissolved nitrate isotope measurement
