Heinrich Boll Scholarships for Undergraduates, Graduates, and PhD Students is a scholarship programme instituted by the Heinrich Boll Foundation. The aim of this scholarship programme is to provide financial assistance to graduates, and doctoral students from outside Germany. An application for a scholarship for an undergraduate degree is not possible. This foundation has awarded scholarships to almost 1,200 undergraduates, graduates, and doctoral students. The proceeds of this scholarship can be used towards tuition fees, spouse/child care and health cover.

The selection of scholars for the Heinrich Boll Scholarships for Undergraduates, Graduates, and PhD Students involves a multi-stage process. The scholars will be selected after a thorough assessment of merit of all the applicants. The selection process includes:
Terms and Conditions
The continuation of the scholarship depends on the good academic performance of the scholars in the examinations conducted by their respective universities.
Renewal cases of stipend holders who are not promoted to the next year will not be considered for further renewal.
The application has to be submitted online in German with supporting documents.
