Geoffrey Oldham Memorial Scholarships 2020 are available to applicants applying to study a Masters in SPRU, to celebrate and continue the legacy of Geoffrey Oldham. The award provides 10,000 pounds towards tuition fees.
Eligibility
To be eligible for this scholarship, applicants must have accepted an offer of a full time place on one of the following Masters courses in SPRU:
- Energy Policy MSc
- Project Management MSc
- Science and Technology Policy MSc
- Strategic Innovation Management MSc
- Sustainable Development MSc
Selection process:
- Applicant must apply for this scholarship after they accept an offer of a place on an eligible course.
- They need to have excellent academic scores to date.
- Applicants also need to provide a statement of academic interests when they apply. The statement will be assessed on how well they demonstrate the following:
- clear and specific goals with what they aim to do after they finish Masters
- significant work experience or extra-curricular activities related to the chosen Masters
- how the research interests will contribute to furthering Geoffrey Oldham’s work on Science and Technology and Gender.
