Scholarship Overview

The Felix Scholarship is a scholarship programme instituted by the University of Oxford. It was founded to offer gifted underprivileged students from India and other developing countries the opportunity of furthering their postgraduate education by attending a university in the UK. Felix Scholarship Trust offers up to six scholarships each for Indian graduates at the University of Oxford, University of Reading, and School of Oriental and African Studies every year. The scholarship is applicable for a Masters Degree, specifically an MBA at the University of Oxford.

Shortlisting Process

The admissions committee will review your complete application. You will be notified on the interview decision deadline whether you have been short-listed for an interview. Interviews will be conducted by either a faculty member, senior member of our administrative staff, or an industry adviser. Your interview can take place in Oxford, overseas (subject to availability), or via video conference (i.e. Skype, Zoom, or similar).

Terms and Conditions

The continuation of the scholarship depends on the good academic performance of the scholars in the examinations conducted by their respective universities.

Renewal cases of stipend holders who are not promoted to the next year will not be considered for further renewal.

 

Eligibility

  • Applicants must be national and ordinarily resident in India.
  • Applicants must have a first-class undergraduate or master's degree from an Indian university.
  • Applicants must not hold a degree from a university outside of India (this rule does not apply to study undertaken whilst in receipt of a Felix Scholarship).
  • IELTS: 7.5 with a min score of 7.0 in each component.
  • GMAT/ GRE: 
    • Candidates are recommended to apply with a GMAT score of 650 or above
    • Recommended score for Subsections Verbal score of160 and a quantitative score of 160 is considered competitive.
  • Work Experience: Applicants should have at least two years of previous full-time work experience.
  • Interview: Applicants who are shortlisted for the Indian scholarship may be asked to complete a short questionnaire before being invited for an interview in India. There is no interview for the non-Indian scholarship.
  • Applicants with a full-time degree-level course of a minimum of nine months, at a recognized institution where teaching and assessment throughout the course is entirely in English and has been completed within 2 years of the start date of the course to which they are applying can be exempted from the English proficiency exam.

Students will be auto-considered for this scholarship when they apply for the courses on which this scholarship is applicable. No separate application is needed.
