The University of Queensland is providing the Entrepreneurial Scholar PhD Top-Up international awards for the academic year 2021-2022. The aim of this award is to help by providing funding to international and domestic students who want to be part of the PhD degree programme at the University of Queensland. Founded in 1909, the University of Queensland is a public research university primarily situated in the capital city of Queensland, Australia. It offers a wide range of graduate programs for students. The university emphasizes teaching quality and gives students additional national teaching awards. Students will be challenged and encouraged during their studies at this university.

Value of the Entrepreneurial Scholar PhD Top-up Scholarship 2021-22:

  • Succesful applicants will receive a scholarship amount of  $10,000 per annum.

Eligibility

  • Applicants must have completed some research experience.
  • Applicants must have completed an approved university degree.
  • Applicants must meet the English language requirements.

Note:- Applicants must need one of the following approved degrees to apply for a PhD :

  • Bachelor’s degree from an approved university with at least honours class IIA or equivalent; or
  • Coursework master’s degree with an overall grade point average of 5.65 on the 7-point UQ scale which includes relevant research experience, approved by the dean; or
  • Postgraduate degree (at least one year full-time or equivalent) with an overall grade point average of 5 on the 7-point UQ scale, together with demonstrated research experience equivalent to honours class IIA will be considered on a case-by-case basis; or
  • Bachelor’s degree plus at least 2 years of relevant research experience, including research publications.
