The Einstein Fellowship
Scholarship Overview
The Einstein Forum and the Daimler and Benz Foundation invite applications for The Einstein Fellowship 2021-22, Germany from students of humanities, social sciences or natural sciences. The fellowship is for outstanding and thoughtful young individuals who wish to pursue a project in a field other than their previous research. The objective of the fellowship is to assist those who are open to various interdisciplinary approaches and additionally produce superb work in his/their area of specialization following the example of the inspiration of the scheme- Albert Einstein. The fellowship provides the opportunity of availing a stipend of EUR 10,000 and other benefits.
Benefits
The selected fellows will receive the following benefits:
- A stipend of EUR 10,000
- Living accommodation for 5-6 months in the garden cottage of Einstein's own summerhouse in Caputh, Brandenburg
- Reimbursement of travel expenses
Documents
The following documents are required to be attached along with the application:
- An updated curriculum vitae
- A two-page project proposal
- Two letters of recommendation

Selection Criteria
Selected students will be based on the quality, originality, and feasibility of the project proposals, as well as on the applicant's academic career.
Eligibility
The following applicants are eligible for the fellowship:
- The applicant must hold a university degree in any of the following areas:
- Humanities
- Social sciences
- Natural sciences
- The applicant must not be older than 35 years of age

Step 1: Write a 2-page project proposal for the fellowship program.
Step 2: Generate an application mail.
Step 3: Attach the required documents in the application mail.
Step 4: Submit the application by sending the application mail along with all the attached documents at fellowship@einsteinforum.de.
