The Banting Postdoctoral Fellowships program provides funding to the very best postdoctoral applicants, both nationally and internationally, who will positively contribute to the country's economic, social and research-based growth. 

The objective of the Banting Postdoctoral Fellowships program is to:

• Attract and retain top-tier postdoctoral talent, both nationally and internationally.

Value of Banting International Postdoctoral Fellowships, 2021:

• The successful applicants of Banting International Postdoctoral Fellowships 2021 will receive an annual stipend of CAD 70,000 per year.
• The duration of this fellowship is two years.
• The number of Banting International Postdoctoral Fellowships awarded annually is SEVENTY.

• The scholarship is open to students from all countries.
• The applicant must not be a holder of the scholarship in the previous years.
• The students should be willing to develop their leadership potential.
