Scholarship Overview
Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi invites applications for Banaras Hindu University Varanasi Department of Zoology Senior Research Fellowship 2021 from Postgraduate degree holders. The fellowship is meant for the project entitled, “Elucidation of Activities and Impact of Pax6 on Regulatory Elements of Brain during Hyperglycemia”. The selected candidate will receive a monthly emolument of INR 35,000 per month plus HRA.

The selection of the candidates will be made based on the applicant's performance in the interview.
Terms and Conditions
- No TA/DA will be paid if called for an interview.
- Applicants having working experience on Brain, Hyperglycemia and Mouse Model would be preferred.

Eligibility
To be eligible, an applicant must -
- Be below 32 years of age
- Hold an MSc in Zoology/ Neuroscience/Biochemistry/ Molecular and Human Genetics/Biotechnology
- Have NET/GATE or equivalent/postgraduation with 55% marks, OR
- Have at least two years of research experience in the area of Neurobiology using Mouse Model, Biochemical, Molecular, and Immunological techniques
