In Guildford, Surrey, England, the University of Surrey (UNIS) is a public research university. The university and several other institutions received royal charters in 1966 in accordance with the Robbins Report's recommendations. The college was located in Battersea Park in London and was formerly known as Battersea College of Technology. The Battersea Polytechnic Institute, which was founded in 1891 to provide higher education in London to the less wealthy residents of the city, is where it all began. There are three sites for the UNIS, with the main campus situated in southeast England's Stag Hill, Guildford. English Language Requirements:

IELTS is not a prerequisite for an undergraduate or postgraduate taught course at the UNIS. The school accepts 70% in English on the 12th board test from the ISC/CBSE boards and 80% in English on the 12th board exam from most Indian state boards. Not all Indian States are covered by this, and the institution retains the ability to compel students to take an English proficiency test.
