About
Nottingham Trent University (NTU) is a public research institution located in Nottingham, England. Although the Nottingham Government School of Design was established in 1843 and is still a part of the university today, it was founded as a new institution of higher learning in 1992.
NTU offers four top-notch campuses in Nottingham, England, in the United Kingdom. The School of Social Sciences, the Centre of Broadcasting and Journalism, the School of Architecture, the School of Art & Design, Design and the Built Environment, and the Nottingham Law School are all located on the City Campus. In addition, it houses The Hive, the university's entrepreneurship hub, and Boot Library. The School of Science and Technology, Nottingham Institute of Education, and the School of Arts and Humanities are all located on the Clifton Campus. QS World University Ranking 2024:
Nottingham Trent University has shown excellence by securing 501–600 spot on the global scale.
With 94% of graduates moving on to full-time employment or higher study within six months after graduation, NTU was cited by The Guardian in 2008 as "one of the best places in the UK for graduate employment." In 2013, the QS World University Rankings placed it at number 600 overall. According to WhatUni's 2015 "Student Choice Awards," the university came in at number twelve. The university was ranked 31st for student experience out of 113 universities nationwide by the Times Higher Education in the same year. Nottingham Trent won the Queen's Anniversary Prize for Higher and Further Education in the area of Science and Mathematics in November 2015.
