• An honours bachelor business degree with a minimum 2.1 award at NFQ Level 8 (or international equivalent) AND

• Applicants are required to have demonstrated strong academic ability (a 1.1 or 2.1) in at least one accounting module and one finance module.
   

Note: Candidates may be asked to sit the Graduate Management Admissions Test (GMAT) subject to individual application.

IELTS

An average score of 6.5 over all components and a minimum of 6.0 in each band on the Academic Version. 
 

In 2022 and 2023 we will accept IELTS indicator. It may not be recognised after that depending on the outcome of a review.
 

TOEFL

Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) 
 

A minimum score of 90 is required in the Internet based TOEFL (iBT) with no less than 21 in writing and at least 19 in every other section.

In 2022 and 2023 we will accept TOEFL Home Edition. . It may not be recognised after that depending on the outcome of a review.

The cost of studying at University College Dublin varies largely depending on the type of university and the degree chosen. Students who have completed a UCD Smurfit Graduate Business School degree are considered by many employers to have developed their accounting and financial management knowledge and skills to a level that means they can make an immediate contribution.
 

•  Accounting Practice

Many roles are open in accounting practice to graduates of this programme. Leading accounting services firms will recognise the knowledge and skills developed in this programme.
 

•  Funds Accounting/Administration

There are many opportunities in the Dublin International Financial Services Centre (IFSC) for graduates of this programme in fund administration and accounting roles
