Charles Sturt University is a multi-campus university with its main campus located in Bathurst, New South Wales and two other campuses in Victoria and the Australian Capital Territory. It was founded in 1989 and given the name Captain Charles Napier Sturt, a British explorer who led expeditions into rural South Australia and New South Wales. Undergraduate, postgraduate, degrees in research, and single-subject study are all available at the university.
