Program Overview

This foundation year course will prepare you for entering an undergraduate degree on one of our law, criminology or sociology degrees. This one-year course is perfect for you if you don't have to the right qualifications or you feel you need stronger grounding in your specialist area. Or maybe you are returning to study and want to get up to speed before starting a degree.

  • Minimum 50% or above from a Local Board Examination or its equivalent.
  • Successfully passed at least one year's higher studies in a relevant subject area. We require 60 ECTS for entry to year two, and 120 ECTS for entry to year three. Acceptance is based on a curriculum match between your prior study and the syllabus at Middlesex.
  • You will need to provide a letter of reference from an academic source and a personal statement.
