They are the GMAT&#8217;s owner and administrator. CAT &amp; GMAT Score Validity &amp; Frequency<\/b><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Assume you&#8217;ve completed the GMAT and are now ready to apply to business schools. Is your GMAT score legitimate?<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Your GMAT score is good for five years after you take the exam!<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">However, if you take the CAT exam, keep in mind that your score is only good for a year. Eligibility Requirements\u00a0<\/b><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If you are 18 years old, you can take the GMAT. You can also take the exam with parental authorization if you are between the ages of 13 and 18. All you have to do is make an account on mba.com and register for the GMAT.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">To take the CAT, you must have a bachelor&#8217;s degree or its equivalent from a recognised university. You can still take the CAT if you are in your final year of college.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The GMAT is a superior option to the CAT in terms of eligibility and score validity. How Many Times Can You Attempt\u00a0<\/b><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">You have a total of eight chances to take the GMAT in your lifetime. The GMAC has designated this as the upper limit.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">While you can take the exam up to eight times, you can only take the GMAT five times per year with a minimum of 16 days between exams.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If you&#8217;re taking the CAT, you&#8217;ll only be able to take it once a year. How Many Colleges Accept GMAT &amp; CAT?<\/b><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The GMAT is required for admission to the world&#8217;s top business schools. More than 2,300 B-Schools accept GMAT exam scores for almost 7,000 programmes, according to the Graduate Management Admission Council (GMAC), which administers the GMAT.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs), which administer the test, are the only institutions that recognise CAT scores. Apart from the IIMs, roughly 30 other institutes accept CAT scores. S.P.
