It aims in providing scholarships to students from weaker sections to pursue IT courses. BPL candidates are included in this DCE scholarship selection list.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Prof. Joseph Mundassery Scholarship Award (PJMS), Keral<\/strong>a<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Students who wish to pursue their education at SSLC (matriculation), plus 2, and VHSE levels and are Kerala natives belonging to minority communities and the weaker sections are eligible for the Prof. Joseph Mundassery Scholarship Award. This scholarship falls under the category of the DCE scholarship for higher education and the benefits are as follows:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Benefits:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Whatever level of study the student wishes to pursue, an amount of INR 10,000 is provided under this DCE Scholarship scheme.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Mother Teresa Scholarship (MTS)<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mother Teresa Scholarships are one of the DCE Scholarship for higher education, provided to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Students who are Kerala natives<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Students who belong to the minority community<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Students who wish to pursue a nursing diploma\/ paramedical courses<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Students whose family income is lesser than INR 8 lakhs<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Benefits:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>An amount of INR 15,000 is awarded to students selected for this programme.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>CA\/ICWA\/CS Scholarships<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As the DCE scholarship name suggests, students wishing to pursue CA\/ICWA\/CS courses and meet the requirements of being Kerala natives belonging to the minority sections can apply for this scholarship. In order to be eligible for this scholarship, students need to secure at least 60% in their qualifying examination. Scholars will receive an amount of INR 15,000 as their award.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The following list below is the other DCE Scholarships, Kerala.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>District Merit Scholarship, Kerala <\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Students pursuing VHSC, ITI or a Polytechnic course passing their previous studies with an A plus grade in all subjects are recipients of this scholarship.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Amount: <\/strong>&nbsp;INR 1,250 per annum.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>State Merit Scholarship, Kerala: <\/strong>For students who are in their first year of their UG or PG course and have secured at least 50% in their qualifying examinations with their annual family income less than INR 1 lakh. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Amount: <\/strong>Graduate students: INR 1,250 pa; Postgraduate students: INR 1,500 pa.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Sanskrit Scholarship (SSE), Kerala: <\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>This DCE Scholarship is open for students pursuing undergraduate or postgraduate degree courses with Sanskrit as a subject.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Amount: <\/strong>INR 200 per annum for UG and PG students.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Muslim Nadar Girls Scholarship: <\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Open to girl students who belong to BPL and backward communities and must be in their first year of HSC\/VHSC\/undergraduate degree.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Amount: <\/strong>INR 125 per annum to every scholar.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Music Fine Arts Scholarship: <\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>This scholarship is open to students studying in a Government music college or Government Fine Arts College.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Amount: <\/strong>INR 1,500 pa.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Blind\/PH Scholarship<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong> <\/strong>Blind students, physically handicapped, and deaf students are eligible to apply for this DCE Scholarship provided they are currently pursuing their education in Government\/aided Arts and Science Colleges, Music Colleges, Higher Secondary\/Vocational Higher Secondary schools.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Amount: <\/strong>These are <a href=\"https:\/\/unicreds.com\/blog\/international-scholarships-for-disabled-students\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">scholarships for the disabled students<\/a> and provide well for them. For blind students whose family income is below INR 2.5 lakh, they will receive a fee waiver; For the Physically handicapped students whose family income is below INR 4.5 lakh, boarding\/hostel charges will be waived.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Hindi Scholarships<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Students who are pursuing a UG or a PG course with Hindi as their core subject can apply for this scholarship.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Amount: <\/strong>UG students receive INR 500 per month and PG students receive INR 1,000 per month.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Suvarna Jubilee Merit Scholarship<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Applicable to students in their first year of their UG or PG degree and belong to the BPL category, having secured at least 50 % in their last qualifying examination.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Amount: <\/strong>INR 10,000 per annum.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Post &#8211; Matric Scholarship For Minorities<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong> <\/strong>This DCE Scholarship requires scholars to pursue their education from class 11 to PhD levels. It is open to minority community students with at least 50% having an annual income less than INR 2 lakhs.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Amount: <\/strong>Admission and allowance &#8211; INR 10,000 per annum. Maintenance &#8211; INR 1,200 per month for 10 months.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Central Sector Scholarship<\/strong> <\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Students who have secured a position above the 80th percentile in their class 12 with their annual income less than INR 8 lakhs can apply for the Central Sector Scholarship.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Amount: <\/strong>INR 10,000 pa for UG 3 years. INR 20,000 pa for the 4th and 5th year.
